This restaurant has been around for so long and I've been going here for so long, that I remember when it was only a carry out! The quality and service has been A+ and since my first taste I have been hooked! I was about 8 years old when I had my first Pia's pizza and I can still feel that hot cheese burning the roof of my mouth! lol Delicious! I've tried most everything on their menu and have never been disappointed! I'm now 66 years old and my favorite is eggplant parmesan, which I proly would never have eaten back in the day! lol Family friendly to the MAX!! The Best restaurant downriver if not in all of Wayne County!

Pia's is known for the Pizza which is good, but what's even better is the Lasagna.

The crust is dry and hard.

Pia's has phenomenal pizza, I ...

Pia's has phenomenal pizza, I have never tried any of their other dishes but whenever I go with my family I don't hear any complaints. The waitstaff is always respectful and timely with orders and refills. Pia's may be one of the best restaurants in the Downriver area. I would go back any day of the week!

Rude to the core

I have been going to Pia's since it first opened. Their food is excellent most of the time. Heaven help you if you are unhappy with a meal...NOT PRETTY. I work not far from there, so it's convenient for my office to get carry out. One of the fish dinners was so nasty, I felt compelled to call and see if they would do anything about it (I didn"t ask for a refund, I just wanted a fish dinner that I was sure was NOT going to poison me. I was told by the person on the phone that they wouldn't do anything about it...period...it was my imagination...there was nothing wrong with the fish. We now go to Moro's on Allen Road. Best food ever, and if they need to move you to another table, or if anything is wrong, THEY MAKE IT RIGHT. Now, that guy knows customer service. Went to Pia's for 30 years+...Too bad...I'm done...no more Pia's in my future.

Service

I have to tell you I love there food there pizza, and Pasta are to die for. They have great lightly battered perch also very good. Been going for years, but the staff and service is not the gratest. I thouht it was just me but I'am pretty much hearing the same thing. Some of there staff does need to be replaced with people more pleasant. 50 years a great reputation but I think in these hard times you must work a little harder to keep the people coming back what use to work may no longer be tolerated. But the food is great!!

Total disaster!

Recently went for a sports celebration for a party of 50, mix of adults and 10 year-olds.

Got the "buffet" plan where they keep bringing out pizza until people are done eating.

Pizza was mediocre. Breadsticks were good.

However, when the bill came we were charged $13 per person. For 2 adults and 2 children, we consumed a grand total of 8 pieces of pizza, a pitcher of pop, 1 salad and 4 breadsticks for a grand total of $52.

During the confusion of check-out we didn't think much about it. However, the next day a couple of the parents called back to ask why so little pizza costs so much.

The manager in charge was incredibly rude and obnoxious, telling the parents to never come back if they didn't like the price.

In a small community such as ours that has experienced so much financial hardship, this type of behavior is disappointing and embarassing.

If you're looking for mediocre food at inflated prices and terrible customer service, Pia's is the place for you!
