This vet does have very cheap prices.. But if your pet is really sick, and you do end up going here. Please do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. This vet told me my best friend was better after keeping him at the office all day to run "tests"and give meds...Then I lost him the next morning...

I have to say, the staff is very pleasent. But the Doctor has a lot learn..

Place is Terrible had my dogs teeth done "supposedly" back in February took him into another vet for a separate issue and 1st thing the vet said was he really needs his teeth done they're bad, and I said I just had them done. The vet said theirs no way his teeth were done! But going to leave it at that..

Always very nice and they've even squeezed me in when my dog was sick. They did surgery on my great Dane and the we're great. He did great. They let me wait until he was ready to go into to surgery, instead of him waiting, because he has bad separation anxiety. Always very nice.

Hands down the worse reception I've ever delt with. My dog is incredibly sick and we waited outside for it to open to be met by people who treated us as an inconvienence. When asking if we can get our dog some help we were told "well the doctors all booked up but if you really wanna wait I guess we can book you" they seemed cold hearted and unconcerned for any time of animal. I will NEVER return even if it was the last vet clinic in the world. I strongly recommend you find another vet!

I've been taking my pets there for years and they are great! If there's a problem with a pet and they can't treat it, they send you elsewhere. One of my dogs wouldn't eat and they ran every test they could on her. The vet sent us to a specialist for an ultra sound and it looked like stomach cancer, I had to bottle feed her special dog food and the staff at aw discounted it for us. A month later there was no sign of cancer. The staff at AW ARE GREAT and COMPASSIONATE!

Please please please never take your animal here. They are the most cold hearted people you will ever meet.

Well Ive known the Dr.'s and staff at AW for 3 years now and I must say their great.... To those of you who feel differently maybe its best you go else where. I have NEVER had any of their staff members be rude or unkind in anyway. People who complain on here about how their "mean" or "didn't help their pet" well maybe you should be responsable pet owners and understand that it takes money to care for a pet correctly. People who read these things really need to understand that half the people that come on here to b*tch about this place are only mad because they failed as a pet owner and thats the bottom line. AW ANIMAL HOSPITAL YOU ROCK!!!

one of the girls was very rude... I canceled my first app. there because the girl who answered the phone was rude.. because of her attitude I didnt want her or the doctor any where near my puppy..

I took my puppy in there and he was VERY sick...he ended up having a bad case of worms and slight parvo, the doc gave him dewormer, and antibiotic shot and before I could get home my pup was ALOT better. I brought him home and did what vet said and gave him the medication and its been a week and my dog is great, he is the same dog he was before getting sick, the staff is extremely nice and the vet is there to care for your pet not just to see dollar signs I will NEVER go to another vet but there...mind you all these was done for $90 dollars! they are incredible!!!!

I was very disatisfied with this clinic. While I don't expect conversations, the vet barely spoke even regarding my dog. I've taken my dog to other vets and she's never had the bad reaction she had here. I bought a year's worth of heartworm medication and when I opened the box I found the experation date was in 6 months. When I called about this I was told "You should never have bought a years worth". I asked why I wasn't told that when I was buying them and there was no good answer for that question. I will never go back to this vet nor will I recommend him to anyone.

I have been taking my dogs to A W Animal Hospital for over 10 years. The prices are the best in town and they care more about the animal then the mighty dollar. While off work and a golden retriever that couldn't stop scratching the vet jumped right in there to help her out and make it affordable for me. He loves the animals and will help you afford them especially while times are hard for everyone.



If you want a vet that cares about your animal and is affordable this is the place. He's an exceptional vet and will take good care of your pet. He was more than awesome when we lost our past 2 golden retrievers to cancer. He kept them comfortable, was honest with us, and was extremely sincere to their condition and our loss! I would NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE but here!!!!!!

I've been a customer for 6 years now. I was told about them by my best friend when I got my cat Mario. I took him in for blood work, and teeth cleaning along with some med's and walked out of there paying $125. The staff is great with animals and truely loves and cares for them:) I now have 2 additional pets which are patients as well:)

All I have to say is this is the best vet around. If you live in the downriver MI area, I recommend this place to all! They're great people, with great prices. I have three dogs that I take there and they have amazing prices! I have a Springer Spaniel that i got fixed at six months and I only paid $210 for the fixing and her yearly shots! If i would have gone to Taylor Vet Clinic on Goddard I would have probably paid twice that or more! I'm glad a friend told me about this place because now its more affordable to keep my pets happy and healthy!
