He joined AdventHealth Medical Group from Duke Childrenâ€™s Primary Care, a division of the Duke University School of Medicine and Duke Regional Hospital, where he served as Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics. He graduated from the University of South Florida College of Medicine and completed his residency training at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center in Virginia. During service as an attending physician at the Naval Hospital/Camp Lejeune, he received the Outstanding Young Pediatrician and Specialty Teacher of the Year awards. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and his dedication to patient care is matched by his advocacy for childrenâ€™s health. He sees patients from infancy to age 21 and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
