Museum of Science and Industry

Paid way too much money for a horrible experience. Everything is broken, and there is very little to do. What there is to do has little educational or fun value. My kids ages 4-12 hated it and were bored. I was shocked at how dirty the place was, especially the area for the toddlers and little kids. The baby area had visible dirt on the toys. Just gross. We left after an hour.

Lots of hands on areas. Great place to take your older children. not CHEAP.

I used to enjoy MOSI every once ina while. Then managament made moves that disappointed me greatly. The first was the cancelation of the laser light shows. The shows were ALWAYS packed when I attended, so I doubt they were not money makers.

I have been unimpressed with the old wing of MOSI for years now. Most of the exhibits are obsolete, and half of them were broken during my past few visits. After visits to other museums, the lack of relevance of MOSI to Florida's science and industry fields is apparent. No attention is paid to the mining or agriculture industries.

MOSI has the Largest Dome IMAX theater in the Southeastern United States. That coupled with all the historic, futuristic, and scientific educational attractions makes this stop one that will jog your memory banks for years to come.
