Love eating here! Beautiful view right on the lake. The food is good and service is great. They're always busy so be patient. Favorite is the Tahoe Mule and fish tacos.

A West Shore "must visit", in both the summer and winter! Enjoy lunch lakeside on the deck in the summer and a cocktail and famous zucchini sticks in the bar in the winter.

This is our favorite restaurant. They have two dining areas - one is for reservations and more upscale (tablecloths) other is more casual and open seating and smaller menu. Both are great! The fish tacos, hamburgers are great. The Hula Pie is a must (macadamia nut ice cream, with cookie crust and topped with fudge sauce and whipped cream). Both restaurants have outdoor patio that overlooks the lake and marina. Friendly atmosphere, good service. We have been going there for 20 years and would never miss going there - summer or winter.

My husband, best friends and I stumbled upon this beautiful resort, nestled in the woods of the California coast of Lake Tahoe 10 years ago, and have been back twice since. (we all live in Ohio). If you go to anywhere in the Reno/Lake Tahoe area, take the trek around the Lake for some of the most scenic photographic moments you'll ever experience! Sunnyside serves the freshest seafood, and beautifully prepared dishes on their spacious deck, with a magnificent panoramic view of the Lake, as well as some of the majestic homes to the left and right, which are nestled in the pines. The also serve undoubtedly the BEST (and prettiest) Bloody Marys I have ever tasted, with fresh herbs and seasonings in them (no mixers here!) Last time I was there was April 2007, and they were not open for lunch, however, I took my brother outside to the lakefront deck to show him the beautiful views, took pictures of the snow capped mountains across the Lake, and actually walked barefoot in the chilly water! I am proud to wear my Sunnyside apparel, and can't wait to return...hopefully for a longer visit next time!
