Our 18 year old cat was frail, thin and fading away. Our vet reccomended these fine folks nuke him and keep him from us for a week, which sounded like hell. This treatment is expensive, and we were not at all sure we were doing the right thing. As it turns out, our cat needed to stay even longer due to the dose they needed to give him. Each day he was away, we recieved a call from these folks giving us his progress update, and reassuring us he was getting love and attention while in kitty jail. When he returned, we needed to treat his litter box like nuclear waste for many weeks, and could not let him sleep with us for a time until the radiation died down. At the time we were all very put out by the process, and wondered if it was worth it. Fast forward to today, some 18 months later, and you would have a hard time identifying him as the same cat. He is thick and muscly again, with a shiny coat, bright eyes, and we have our wonderful baby back again. Thanks to you, FHTC !
