- Plantar FasciitisPost-operative patients are the prime candidates for the AlterG Treadmill. Patients are strapped into the middle of it, with their feet enclosed in the pressurized case. By safely securing patients, they are able to use the weight-bearing treadmill freely, without pressure on their legs or the fear of falling off of it. Other conditions that have shown improvement through the AlterG Treadmill include tendinitis, obesity, arthritis, osteoporosis, plantar fasciitis, shin splints, spine fusions, stress fractures, neurological disorders, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), and total joint replacement.

- Carpal Tunnel SyndromeCarpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve in the wrist is compressed, which usually happens as a result of repetitive movements. Typing and assembly line work are two common causes of carpal tunnel syndrome. According to Harvard Health, treatment for this illness should be sought as soon as possible to avoid long-term nerve damage.

- Frozen ShoulderFrozen shoulder is defined by a painful loss of shoulder motion and a tightness of the shoulder joint that severely restricts motion. Another name for it is adhesive capsulitis. This syndrome can occur if your arm has been in a cast or sling for a long time, or if you have been bedridden for a long time. Some ethnic groups are more prone, and women between the ages of 40 and 60 are more likely than men to have this illness.

Icing, elevating the foot to reduce swelling, and wearing shoe inserts are treatment options used to improve Achilles tendonitis. It’s also important to remember that strong calves will help to prevent relapses.

Ben and Denali both did a great job with the finer points of using core muscles through a variety of stability exercises. I definitely recommend the professionals at this office.
