I tried to refinance my mortgage through Wells Fargo, who was bank that already had my mortgage. The interest rate was at 6.25%. Wells Fargo told me it wouldn't be worth it to refinance because of the closing costs. I called Serenity First Financial and my loan officer, Chad Tracey, lowered my rate to 4.5% and lowered my term to 15 yrs. My payment is now over $100/month lower and I will be paid-off 4 years sooner. I also skipped a month of payments. The process was easy and stress free, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
