Dr. Klingenstein was rude, patronizing, and dismissive of my concerns. Was literally laughing at my suggestions about possible diagnoses and refused to evaluate me for diseases I have symptoms of. Upon physical examination he POKED me where my gallbladder used to be even though I had told him it was removed recently. He then said "oops, I forgot, sorry" even though I told him about the surgery 10 minutes before. He made it seem like I was basically making up my symptoms, which include severe daily pain that I had for the past 4 years. Finally he refused to take my case, since he was the 3rd GI I had gone to. His exact words were "I don't know what you want from me, since I'm the 3rd one in the game." I have reason to believe at least some of this treatment was because of me being Hispanic and overweight; he kept looking me up and down with almost a snarl of distaste. First and LAST time I go to this Medicaid-fleecing disgrace.
