I put my Christmas cards in my mail box yesterday(17th) at 1 PM with the FLAG UP. Upon checking my mail this morning the flag is still up and the cards are still in the mail box. I have tried to call the Gum Street location several times today and get a recording to call back during normal business hours. Well, it's NOON on the 18th and that is way passed the 9 AM hour they open. The mail at 703 Central Avenue, Summerville, S.C. has been picked up after 6 P.M. daily and there is no excuse that my cards were not picked up. I find it highly unacceptable. Christmas is only a week away and I realize ALL post offices are very busy, but the mail carriers job is to deliver the mail and PICK UP where indicated by an upraised flag. You need to alter the recording and inform your carriers to PICK UP THE MAIL.

Nothing but positives here. The carrier, Chris, who handles the route i'm on, 17-A / North Main Street , doing a great job. Friendly and personable as well.

I have to say that we have the worst mail delivery woman out there from this post office!! Constantly getting other peoples mail (bills too!) and I've had my stuff never turn up! If you're in White Gables neighborhood, hope you never get $ sent in a card, you may never see it!
