This is the best school ever. I love the owner she’s amazing. The teachers are amazing. I told the owner I wish she could continue the grades classes longer. My daughter’s social skills especially has improved tremendously!!! Thank you Goddard sugarland and to all the amazing teachers and staff that takes care of our kids, especially in these times. Thank you for hanging in there and still looking out for the children. God bless you!!!! I would recommend this school highly. And I’m a very pickie mom!

My daughter has been at Goddard School Sugar Land for almost a year and we just LOVE it! The facility is super clean, the staff is very friendly and professional, and the director knows what she's doing. Mrs. Kathy the owner is always there. From time to time, we might experience some issues but Mrs. Kathy always makes sure that someone takes care the issues for us. I have seen how much my daughter has progressed and it blows my mind to see what she's been learning! I have a difficult time picking her up every day because she does not want to leave her school!

Best daycare in Sugar Land. My daughter attends this school since she was 2 months old and she loves it. We love it too. They really love my daughter. I can see it in their eyes and smiles. Many schools in the area are top schools and meet any criteria you can find, but this is the only school in the area that I felt offered love and care. I felt warmth coming from the director and the teachers. You cannot fake the glow they get when you arrive and they see your child. Mrs Mehri (the lead teacher) and Mrs. Bao are such educated and caring people. They get excited when they see my daughter. I really could not ask for better care. I had a nanny in my home before but I felt that it lacked in structure and that they follow their own guidelines,
I'm not wealthy and it is an effort to be able to afford for it, but it is worthy it. We wouldn't take her anywhere else to save a few dollars.
Couldn't recommend more.

Would like to start saying that I'm a very intense and demanding mother and have more than 9 years experience with a couple of day cares around Houston (all of them the top expensive ones) and the Goddard School at Sugar Land is the very best one!!! Katy (the owner) is on top of absolutely everything, you can feel her dedication and passion for her business and it's NOT all about money, they care about the individual needs for each child.

My daughter is attending the prek group and their curriculum is way advanced for even kindergarten, as they customize it depending on the group class; how I cannot recommend this school if my daughter learned addtions in one single day....she is quite smart but the merit goes to her teacher. She is the best teacher have ever seen, we absolutely love her!!

My son was at this school till a few months ago. It was a good school with the previous owner. There are lots of issues with this school. High turnover of teachers and students, many parents are withdrawing their kids, inexperienced teachers who have no clue what they are doing. My son came home hurt couple of time because of kids running around in the classroom. The owner Kathy is clueless because she doesn't have a childcare background and is never ever there. She will listen very carefully to your feedback (all while attending her phone 10 times in between a conversation) and then not do anything about it. The director isn't any better either. When you compare this school with some other school in that area is when you realize what is waste of money this school is. Moving my son was the best thing I did.

Our two children have been attending Goddard School since the summer and we couldn't be happier with care and a personalized attention they have been given. Lead and assistant teachers are well qualified and keep parents informed on upcoming lessons and activities via email. The owner and director want nothing but the best for the children and always greet you with a smile. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality child care and preschool.

Our son has attended the Goddard School since July, and we are very pleased with the level of care he receives every day. As a working mom, I am comforted to know that his teachers and the administrators alike give him more than adequate personal attention. Likewise, all are concientious of his food allergy. I have been a teacher for more than a decade, and I feel confident that the staff of this school ensure that our son is safe and well cared for. What a spectacular variety of activities they plan for the children every day as well. I couldn't ask for a more engaging, responsive environment for my son. And it's clean! What more can a mom ask for?

I would have agreed with donethkm's post on June 2013 until the school took new ownership in July/August 2013. My child attended this day care for over 4 months. We have had multiple issues since July/Aug. The teacher positions in the infant room were like a revolving door, you never knew who would be in there taking care of the children. The most recent 'lead' teacher could not seem to follow our feeding requests and would just feed my child when he fussed, he would be out of bottles by mid-afternoon. The last and final straw was when I got my child home one afternoon, he had BLEACH that had stained through his onesie. They had been making the toy sanitization solution too strong, so who knows if it was even being completely cleaned off the toys that were probably placed in all of the children's mouths!

My son has gone to the Goddard School for a year. I was saddened to hear the previous review, that is the complete opposite of what I have experienced and everyone else I know. My son is the in the Elephant class and I adore his teachers (Ms. Catherine and Ms. Alex) and the rest of the staff. I feel confident that my child is in the best hands when my husband and I leave him to go to work. I am very blessed to have people care so much about my child. Ms. Gina, the owner, is always there and has gone above and beyond to make sure the children and parents are taken care of. Ms. Christine is always there and smiling and willing to help me with whatever I need. I am a teacher and appreciate the fact that my children is learning so much! The online website is amazing! Thanks for making my child's first experience in school such an amazing one!

This is the worst school ever! The owner is so money hungry and could care less or better yet knows nothing about her own school. My baby was in this school for not even 3months and I pulled her out. The lead teacher for the Elephant class is always in the front office or just being pulled out for other things than to be a lead teacher. The teacher assistants have a bad attitude and they do not teach the kids anything. The owner tells her staff that when the parents are picking up the kids to act like they are reading a book to the kids or something that the parents would like to see. I felt like I was teaching my baby everything she knew. They also could care less about your kid. If they have a runny nose you will literally catch your child eating his or her snot because they will not clean it. According to them it keeps running and they just can't keep cleaning it. REALLY??! So what do I pay you for? One day I popped up and found the kids in circle time doing nothing. One of the assistants was asleep and the other was doing nothing. As soon as I walked in she started saying the colors in English and Spanish as if she was teaching them something. They are so full of it! Also, the turnover is so bad it's ridiculous! BEWARE! Your child is not safe or even being educated at this school. They are horrible! The owner is the worst! She knows nothing! Her daughter is the sweetest and I feel so sorry for her because she tries. I will be calling corporate.

We sent our precious daughter ...

We sent our precious daughter , Viviane Le,to The Goddard School in 2011 and 2012, and we will be sending our 1-year-old son there starting this spring(2012).

I am very pleased with the experience that my daughter had there. Her social skills blossomed nicely. Her verbal abilities improved dramatically. She became very interested in various arts and crafts. And she always looked forward to going to The Goddard School to see her friends and her teachers. I frequently drop by unannounced to check on my daughter and the teachers, I HAVE NEVER SEEN the teachers mistreat any children. I have great respect for what the staff and the teachers do there everyday. The teachers took the time to learn each children's characters and condition so they can perform the best to accommodate the children's needs. They went above and beyond to help every children, especially my Viviane. She had a strong will of consistent crying during the first 2days at school. With the love and caring from Ms. Gina, Ms.Jenifer and all of the teachers there,My daughter loves her teachers and her little friends. Thank you for all you do! It is appreciated!

I really liked that the school focused on a well-rounded experience for the kids. And I liked that the teachers had background in elementary education, speech therapy, art, early childhood education, and special education. All of them were also very loving and caring children . The director, Jenifer, is very warm and welcoming and very professional to work with.

If you live in or around Sugar Land or Houston, and you're looking for a solid pre-school option for your young one, I recommend The Goddard School.

I am also a first time mom who...

I am also a first time mom who was hesitant for anyone to care for my son other than myself, my husband or family. When we had to find childcare in a very short amount of time, my world turned upside down at the thought of having to leave my 12 week old son in the arms of anyone other than the select few I trusted. I had never even considered the idea of daycare previous to attending the open house at the Goddard School. I walked through the doors apprehensive and doubtful, yet I left with a completely different perception. The school is new, well- maintained, clean, and very inviting. The teachers are warm, friendly, and I could see the dedication they have to the babies just in speaking with them. The parents have open communication with one another, and the open door policy for parents gave me the comfort I needed to consider enrolling my son in the infant care program. The parents who currently had their babies enrolled had nothing but wonderful things to say about the school, Jennifer the director, Ms. Holly, Mrs. Ann Marie and the other teachers who assist them. My husband and I spent an afternoon observing in the infant classroom, and we were very pleased with the level of care. The interaction between the babies and teachers, the daily procedures, the activities the babies participate in, etc. far surpassed our expectations. We enrolled our son the same week. I was so thankful that there was an opening, because after seeing the Goddard School, I wouldn’t have taken my son anywhere else! The director, Jennifer, was very accommodating in getting us enrolled quickly and smoothly. She is a wonderful, dedicated director. We have never seen a baby left to cry, or be stepped over, etc. I am positive that Client3 has never stepped foot in the infant classroom, because the environment and care are the complete opposite of everything stated in their review. Every teacher genuinely cares for each child, and they do it so lovingly and always with a smile. My son is advancing so rapidly, and I know the teachers really do work on the activities that are age appropriate for each baby. I leave the school each morning with no hesitations. I am confident that my son is being cared for by loving, and qualified people. The Goddard school has been such a blessing for us. I truly am so thankful to have my son cared for by The Goddard School staff- they are the best!

The Goddard School is exceptio...

The Goddard School is exceptional. I am an elementary teacher who also stayed home with my son until recently. This year, I had to find a school that would be nurturing AND provide academic rigor. The curriculum is fantastic. I am a parent who checks online for developmental benchmarks. I am comforted in the fact that TGS is always ahead of current preschool benchmarks. My son first started in Ms. Deidre's class and it was a great fit for him. The director will go above and beyond for any of the families. She is always there with a smile first thing in the morning (my son has been the first child there several times) and last thing in the evening. She has always taken time to talk with me about any concerns from potty training to academics. My son looks for her in the morning and she looks for him! I am a choosy parent of an only child. TGS meets or exceeds all of our needs.

As a first time mom I was extr...

As a first time mom I was extremely aprehensive about the thought of day care and was convinced that I was the only person qualified to help my daughter reach her full potential as a infant. Man, was I wrong! In the 5 months she has attended the Sugar Land Goddard School I have realized that the activities she participates in on a daily basis and the socialization skills she has aquired by interacting with the other children far exceed the expectations I had set. I am always amazed with the weekly themes introduced and am tickled when she comes homes with evidence of the goo that she was allowed to explore with that day! I was warned that between 6 and 9 months she would reach the stage where she would cling to me when it was time to drop her off....at almost 10 months old that day has yet to come! The moment we walk in she is eager to get out of my arms and ready to play. It deeply saddens me that Ms. AnnMarie, Ms. Holly, and Ms. Daryel would receive such negative attention. How dare you, Client 3....to say that these teachers are undeserving of the accusations you made is an understatement. I am beyond grateful of the care those 3 women have provided to my child and equally as grateful to Jennifer, the director, who puts in countless hours to ensure these children excel. Thank you again to all of the staff at the Sugar Land Goddard School!

From the time we met Ms. Jenni...

From the time we met Ms. Jennifer (Education director) we LOVED her. She went over and beyond to get my son into the Goddard school because of the daycare that he was at. My son started at the Goddard school at 7 months old and still could not roll over due to being strapped into bouncers and rockers at the previous daycare. Ms. Ann-Marie and Ms. Holly worked on his development daily, they made it their personal mission to get him on track. I often popped into the daycare to see how my son was doing and NEVER were any of the babies crying, they were being played with, cuddled and nurtured, there was music playing and the room always had a very relaxed ambiance. The one day I walked in and my son was sound asleep in Ms. Jennifer’s arms, it was a beautiful sight. The babies are always changed on time and both Ms. Holly and Ms. Ann-Marie went the extra mile because my son has such sensitive skin. My son has since move up into Ms. Chandni and Ms. Lindsay’s class who are absolutely brilliant with him and his LOVES them. My son still has the biggest smile when he see Ms. Holly or Ms. Ann-Marie. I cannot speak highly enough of the teachers at the Goddard school, they don’t just do their job, THEY LOVE THEIR JOB and they LOVE their kiddies. They are so warm and caring, they have had a huge impact on both of my children. My daughter is 2 and when she started at the Goddard School Ms. Chandni was her first teacher. She was so good with my daughter, there were no tears shed. Between Ms. Chandni, Ms. Jessica and Ms. Melinda my daughter has blossomed into a talkative little girl who just loves going to school every day. I’m positive that client3 has the WRONG school, the comments are unfounded and could not be further from the truth. I highly recommend the Goddard School of Sugar Land on HWY90 – there ISN’T A BETTER SCHOOL with better teachers, they have the cream of the crop. Thank you for all you do, we appreciate it.

I highly recommend this school. The staff is so welcoming and kind. They greet you every morning with a great big smile, and talk to you everyday about your child's day when you pick them up. The director and owner of the school are always there. They truly show that they care not only about the children but also their parents.

My child started as a nine-wee...

My child started as a nine-week old with this school. Now, as a 7 month old, she loves school and has developed spectacularly. She crawls really well and spends most of her days standing and playing in the toybox. She couldn't have done all of this if Goddard wasn't taking good care of her. They do arts and crafts, puppet shows and visits to other classrooms. They go outside regularly; the little ones get pushed around in a stroller while my child is allowed to play in the grass. My daughter has always been clean, never had a diaper rash, and is fed on the schedule I requested. I nursed her regularly twice a day for three months in the baby classroom; I have seen how all the children are treated up close and personally. They are loved and taken care of. My plan was actually to move her to another Goddard location closer to my home at 6 months, but I chose not to because I was so happy with the care at the Sugar Land location.

Ok, I am going write this from...

Ok, I am going write this from a personal view. GODDARD is the best school I have ever seen before. The teachers are caring, Mrs. Chadiney and Mrs. Malinda are amazing. It starts with Jenn the director, she is always there and always around. In fact she usually picked up my daughter and held her when she came in every morning. The school is clean and all of the kids are having a fun and learning. This is not a dump and drop by any means. FYI FOR A LIVING I PRESENT TO DAYCARE OWNERS AND TEACHERS AND CERTIFY THEM WITH CREDITS AROUND THE USA. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS I ASKED JENN 84 QUESTIONS AND SHE ANSWERED THEM ALL. I WOULD NOT SEND MY DAUGHTER THERE OUT OF CONVENIENCE, THIS WAS A WELL PLANNED CHOICE BY MYSELF AND WIFE. I AM NOT SURE WHAT THE PREVIOUS WRITER WROTE ABOUT BUT WHEN I TRIED TO GO INTO THE BABY ROOM THEY MADE ME PUT ON SLIPPERS. I HAVE A PASSCODE TO GET IN THE SCHOOL. THIS IS THE SAFEST ENVIRONMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE FOR ANY CHILD. THE OWNER IS ALWAYS AROUND AS WELL. I HAVE BEEN DEMPTED TO STAY THE DAY AND OBSERVE BUT I DON'T HAVE TO WHEN MY DAUGHTER COMES HOME SMILING AND LAUGHING COUNTING NUMBERS AND I GET A REPORT CARD ON THE REG. ALSO MY DAUGHTER IS LACTOSE INTOLERANT AND THE DIRECTOR JENN TAKES PERSONAL CARE TO ENSURE SHE GETS THE RIGHT MILK. I WONDER IF THE PERSON WHO WROTE THAT EARILER IS A PARENT OR A COMPETITOR?

+ great location + loving and...

+ great location

+ loving and caring director, owner, teachers

It seems like the writer client3 has problem with the school or else. I have my daughter at this location. She has learned a lot since day one and got super care from her teachers... Once in a while I stoped by looking at the infant classes where all teachers are always busy taking care of babies.

The writer client3 is exagerating things that she might not truly observed. Come visit this school to find the answer yourself.
