Move over Shipley's, Dunkin' Donuts, and yes, Krispy Kream. There is a new donut in town, and it is Mr. Donut, nestled in Sugar Land's Telfair subdivision, across from the Museum of Natural Science. I've driven long distances just to taste the latest donut flavor of Houston's top rated shops. This sparkling gem offers a good selection of donuts and kolaches. The yeast donuts are light, fluffy and melt in your mouth. They have THE BEST apple fritter in town, not to mention some amazing, fresh kolaches with a variety of fillings. Plus the service is exceptionally friendly and warm (they like their job). If it is your turn to make the "donut run" for the office, you must stop by and treat yourself and others to Mr. Donut. Their box says "you deserve a donut", and I have to agree. (By the way, no one paid me to write this review) CM of Sugar Land, TX
