They ruined a business shirt that was less than one year old. When I went to pick up my clothes, the shirt has a lot of holes that seemed like the result of machine accident. The owner promptly blamed it on me. He lied that they never washed the shirt. He was offensive right from the beginning. However, when I established that they actually washed it, he became defensive and agitated. He then said that we can go to the court and settle it. It was a very strange experience!

One of my husband's shirts was ruined after taking it to be laundered at Lilly Cleaners. On the back side of the shirt, there appeared three large burn circles and one section where the shirt had been burned all the way through. I let the employees know, and they assured me the owner would call. He didn't. When I called to speak to hime two days later, he was extremely offensive. He claimed that I had in fact created the large circular burns, not Lilly Cleaners. This of course would have been impossible, seeing as how large circular burns would not have gone unnoticed either by me or by Lilly Cleaners when I dropped the shirt off. Yet, he continued to strongly claim that he had done nothing wrong. There was absolutely no acknowledgement that perhaps a mistake had been made. He was combatant and rude from the very first moment of our conversation. After loyally and exclusively trusting Lilly Cleaners with my dry-cleaning needs for three years, the owner had the audacity to treat me with such disrespect and dishonesty.
