Individual, Couple and Family Therapy | Parenting for peace at home and success in school

General Info
As solution-focused therapists and parent trainers, our goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can not change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. If relationships within your family are a challenge, we will teach you better communication skills or parenting approaches so that you can reach your family goals. If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, Ruth and Joe look forward to working with you through couples therapy, family therapy or parenting classes to find peace and a positive direction now.Ruth Freeman and Joe Freeman are seasoned, mindful psychotherapists and parenting educators in Mansfield CT. For nearly twenty years, Joe has taught parenting classes at Natchaug Hospital in Mansfield CT where he compassionately provided individual and family therapy with diverse children and families. Ruth is a founding member of the CT Parenting Education Network and co-authored the University of Connecticuts Building Family Futures parenting class curriculum. Ruth and Joe work with individuals, couples, and families to identify and achieve specific goals that are realistic and meaningful.
