Worst car rental experience I have ever had. Emerald member and claimed vehicle on isle at the Dulles Airport National Car rental site. Noted damage to attendant there, and at the gate before I left (annotated by attendant). Turned in vehicle at end of rental period and no one was present to check-in the vehicle. Received notice a day later that they needed my insurance information to process "a claim" against the vehicle. Spent the next week addressing that, which was found to be the same damage I had noted before leaving the lot. Waist of my time, poor coordination/synchronization of service, and undue stress/strain. There are far too many rental choices to take of this of this happening to you.

Car was good. My phone died during the commute around DC to Franklin MD. The car did not have USB ports for charging and I do not have a car charger with old style plug in anymore. Should have looked into car to see who had usb charging. Was given direction that put me into DC traffic when I could have gone through Virgina to Franklin MD with much less traffic, 2 hours versus 40 minutes. I should have researched route instead of relying on the attendant.

Excellent service. I loved picking out a vehicle from the Emerald Aisle- it was quick and couldn't have been easier. I fly in/out of Dulles a lot and will continue to use National. My best rental car experience ever!

Good rental car. No issues. The car was relatively new and very clean. I would rent from again.
