- Primary CareTorrey DeMoss, CPNP-PC/AC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner board certified in both primary and acute care. She attended the University of Colorado College of Nursing and graduated in 2009 with a master’s degree in nursing. Because of her passion for emergency medicine, she completed a pediatric acute care post master’s certificate in 2016, again at the University of Colorado. She has worked as a pediatric intensive care registered nurse at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children, as well as a nurse practitioner in the emergency departments and urgent cares of Children’s Hospital Colorado. She has also had primary care experience with Children’s Hospital Colorado Young Mother’s Clinic. Torrey is married with two daughters and enjoys skiing, camping, and traveling. She joined Pediatrics of Steamboat Springs in 2022.

- Mental HealthDr. Fitzgerald currently serves as the Director of the Pediatric/Newborn Service Line at Yampa Valley Medical Center. She is one of the Medical Directors for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. Her practice interests include preventive medicine/vaccines, mental health, and concussion management. She is married with two children and enjoys snowboarding, cycling, learning languages, and watching all of the professional soccer she can.

- Wound CareWound care. Call the doctor right away if the skin is split open and might need stitches. Wash any minor scrapes with soap and water. Apply pressure with a clean cloth (sterile gauze if you have it) for 10 minutes to stop any bleeding. For swelling, apply ice for 20 minutes.

- EczemaIt is ok to give your child a lukewarm bath, submerging no higher than shoulder level, 1-3 times a week. Patting dry and applying a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic moisturizing lotion immediately after bathing can help prevent dry skin or worsening the skin condition called eczema. NEVER leave your child unattended near water.

- Sports MedicineDr. Fitzgerald is board-certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Sports Medicine. She graduated from medical school at the University of North Dakota and completed a general pediatrics residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. She then completed a Pediatric Sports Medicine Fellowship at Texas Children’s Hospital in conjunction with the Baylor College of Medicine.
- Physical TherapyNathan Stack received his Bachelor of Mathematics & Science Degree from the University of Wyoming in 2015. Nathan was the Chief Operating Officer establishing an Orthopedic physical therapy clinic in Casper, Wyoming in 2015. A few years later he expanded the business into Pediatric therapy. In 2022 Nathan moved to Steamboat Springs to join Pediatrics of Steamboat Springs. He is currently obtaining his MBA from LSUS. He is married, has two children, and enjoys spending his free time with friends and family, playing games with his kids, camping, and fishing.
