      Santiam Memorial Hospital As the community grew, so did the hospital. In 2011, construction began on the west tower, which doubled the size of the hospital. Upon its completion in 2012, the hospital campus became home to the Santiam Surgery Center, Santiam Family Birth Center with a C-section unit on the same floor, and the Medical Surgical Unit/ICU. The Santiam Surgery Center offers state-of-the-art technology with spacious surgical suites and same-day surgery options for patients all offered right in comfort of your community. Our Family Birth Center offers a wide range of birthing options, including the only hospital with in-room water labor tubs and telemedicine coloration with OHSU NICU. The ICU supports a range of critical care options with your care group highly trained ICU Nurses, Hospitalists, Pulmonologist, and Telemedicine with OHSU. The Diagnostic Imaging Department offers pin-point accuracy and faster results with options to Nuclear Technology, Ultrasound, DEXA, and Digital Mammography all in the comfort if the Hospital. On-site specialties to name a few include Family Medicine, Cardiology, Board Certified Anesthesiologists, Midwifery, Orthopedics, Pulmonary, Podiatry, Infectious Disease, Obstetrics, and Internal Medicine.
