Reviews
This library has a reputation for snappish and unfriendly service: why do you think so many folks from Staunton choose to go to Fishersville instead (same library system)? Many of the staff are curt and suspicious (and I was there with quiet children so God knows how they are with noisier families). It's like I'm borrowing the check-out person's own favorite books when I go there. Why does it have to be that way? The Augusta Co library system is FANTASTIC, but this particular library isn't doing it any favors. A pretty building in an excellent location: too bad the atmosphere ruins it. It's a bit of a joke among the patrons of the surrounding libraries, but a sad one.
