Dr. Mbakwe is board certified in internal medicine and previously studied at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition to serving her patients, she is also interested in medical research and rheumatology and affiliates with East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro, GA.As an internal medicine physician, Dr. Mbakwe treats a variety of acute and chronic conditions using evidence-based medicine and a patient-centered, personalized approach. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating health issues, like hypertension, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, and many other medical conditions. Dr. Mbakwe helped to set up the internal medicine department at Central Washington internal medicine, Yakima, Washington State.
