      Easter Seals is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of support services for individuals and families with disabilities. It provides medical rehabilitation, early intervention, physical and occupational therapy, job training and employment, child care and adult day programs. The organization s medical rehabilitation program includes prevention, diagnosis and treatment for individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Easter Seals administers the State Children s Health Insurance Program, also known as SCHIP, which features health insurance for children from low-income and working families. It also participates in various recreational, camping and respite activities for the disabled. Headquartered in Chicago, Easter Seals maintains a location in State College, Pa.
