Got to love it when you take your animal in and the Vet is an incompetent jerk. My Mom's cat had a growth on her neck and wasn't eating. He comes in, touches it, says it isn't cancer and probably should be removed later on if it becomes a hindrance. Labs where drawn and an antibiotic shot given for precautionary measures for a little shy of $200. Then sold an expensive bag of food to see if changing diet would help. Well, three days later they call her and say all labs look great and no further treatment needed. Even documented it on the labs. Fast forward to today...took her to competent vet and had her previous labs sent over. Pancreatic levels elevated, labs weren't normal, spot was cancer, and our beautiful family cat was put down so she wouldn't suffer. Years ago we had the same issue. Brought our dog in for dental work and a couple months later died of mouth cancer. When vet requested the X-rays of the teeth Star had never taken any. You would of thought we would of learned then. Some might think I'm bitter, but facts are facts. If you care about your pets, don't use this vet. I only have one feeling towards Star Vet, but I'll keep it some what professional. I wish I could leave negative stars.
