Marinetec provided service on my 1990 MB. The two previous mechanics had ripped me off and rye repairs were never completed. Tony was honest, reputable and fixed my boat at a reasonable cost. Thanks to Marinetec, this provided my family with stress free boating. Because of this experience, I trusted Tony to then winterize and provide storage for me as well.

I have had only good experiences with MarineTech. Marine Tech has maintained my 2000 Larson SEI with Volvo Penta IO for the past three years. Marine Tech replaced an impeller which failed, performed wiring work, winterizing etc. Marine Tech also worked on my easy loader and did an excellent job. Marine Tech was recommended to me by a neighbor who also enjoyed good service. Frankly, good service for a boat at reasonable cost is a challenge to find in Northwestern Washington. Marine Tech advised me of their first in first out policy. If I take my boat in on June 30th, there will be a wait. But I am satisfied with their work.

We took our boat to this business; had a new engine put in. We made several phone calls to him to find out the reason for the delay; and after 6 weeks we finally got our boat back. BUT it was $2000 more than he quoted us. And, the fuel pump kept failing...it was replaced with the wrong size of lever; we had to replace the fuel pump, that he charged us for, twice until WE found the reason for the failure of the pumps. Our remote oil hoses had clamps (again, he charged us for) were cheap and not able to tighten around the hoses. We had lost 3 quarts of oil from the engine when we found that problem. After that, we found that every hose, bolt and nut were only finger thight. We have had to tighten and replace hoses with cracks and tears in them. A prudent person would have never used them! Several people that have had work preformed there have since told us similar stories. It's simple, if you need to have work preformed on your boat; DO NOT go here
