I use to live next door to this place, and if anyone is looking for excellent food, friendly service reasonably priced dishes then this is the place to come to. I moved back to California and I really miss this place. The 2 women that run this place, I believe they are sisters are so adorable and warm, and will go out of their way to make you smile. Friendly environment along with great food is hard to find these days.

Truthfully, I must say that this is the best Chinese food I ever had. I have been to so many other places in Stamford and Greenwich, but none of them even compare to Uncle Dais. They give you great quality Chinese food for a good price. Its not at all greasy or slimy like you find in many other restaurants in the surrounding area. Like another review said, they will recognize you after just a couple visits and they are always so happy to see you. They make us feel right at home. You must go there, I guarantee you will never go to any other Chinese restaurant again after experiencing Uncle Dais. By the way, I recommend the Capitol Chicken, it's out of this world!

Who ever said this place gave them a stomach ache never had good Chinese food then. This is the best in town hands down. Low MSG low fat always fresh food. Never heavy or greasy like most fast food Chinese.

This is a HEAVILY overlooked restaurant. The food is ALWAYS amazing and the employees are beyond friendly. Eat here more then twice and you will be recognized and seated very fast every time. Highly recommend the Sesame Beef with white rice, I could not believe I was paying less then 7 dollars for food this good.

I just came back from uncle dai's. My friend and I tried Uncle dai's dishes today. I wish this one is good enough so I don't need to drive a few miles to find a decent chinese restraurant. very unfortunately, my friend and I felt very uncomfortable in stomach and went to restroom immediately after dinner. I swear I will never never never go to Uncle Dai's again.

Food is ALWAYS very good at Uncle Dai's! The only Chinese restaurant that will cater to your low-fat diet with clean, healthy low-fat cuts of meats.
