Eat here is you want to get sick. The dumplings were literally rancid. My wife ended up throwing up at the table. They smelled like summer garbage. I am not exaggerating. We brought it up to the manager who smelled it and shrugged. My wife speaks Chinese and the wait staff talking to each other were saying that we were just trying to get out of the bill. The manager said he would take 20% off. I couldn't believe it. They left the rancid food on the buffet table and didn't want to hear it. We called the Board of Health immediately. My wife continued to half to make frequent trips to the bathroom through out the day for various expulsions of sickness. No question the have earned the title of "Worst of Springfield"

The food at the red sun buffet was far less than what I thought it would be.the rice was a little bit salty, the chicken fingers were greasy,hard and tasted old it seemed as though the oil they used to fry their food in was stale and needed to be changed. As far as i'm concerned the quality of the food there was very poor. In a pinch if I had to stop to get a bite to eat the red sun buffet would be the last place on my mind.

The Red Sun Buffet is my favorite restaurant! The quality of food is superb and the staff is extremely friendly, courteous and very professional. If you happen to like sushi, then this is the place for you! The Sushi Chef, "Number 7" always goes the extra mile for his customers and treats them all like royalty. His unique artistic approach combined with his outstanding culinary skills and creativity make each visit to the Red Sun Buffet one to remember.

Tasty food, but a little TOO slow adding items to buffet(i.e. crab legs). Seeing as though this may be a popular item, cook enough to last and use larger buffet pans!
