MaMa Tang Restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant in Springdale, AR. The food texture and color has been significant. Taste was rich and their servicing were supreme. I give this restaurant a five star score. Price is right. Some dishes include rice, soup, and egg roll. Location is close to freeway 540. It is just a few blocks away from Elm Spring Road Exit. Both the owners and their waiter and waitress are friendly. Excellent !!!

The restaurant owners were born and raised in the People's Republic of China. They previously owned a restaurant on South Thompson Street, and sold it to someone who subsequently sold it to another, now Lin's Buffet.This is the only Chinese-American style restaurant owned by PRC natives who do NOT have a buffet offering. The building is new and was built for the purpose intended, and yet, it is smaller than their previous restaurant where they did offer a buffet. Like now, they had built their previous location as well.So, the Mama Tang restaurant offers a luncheon special that is hot, savoury and is cooked to order. There is one soup per day, rotating between egg drop and hot sour soup. The luncheon special that I order is number four, the only rather spicy offering at lunch at the lowest price point....$5.50 plus drink and tax. Mama Tang is at the counter, and Papa Tang is the cook. There is a Laotian hostess, and several wait staff also born in the PRC. Food is delicious.
