Western Gas Partners is a growth-oriented, limited partnership formed by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation to own, operate, acquire and develop midstream energy assets. Western Gas Partners is engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, processing, treating and transporting natural gas for its customers. It maintains assets in eastern and western Texas. The partnership focuses on increasing its cash distribution by pursuing accretive acquisitions, capitalizing on organic growth opportunities and minimizing commodity price exposure. It operates several natural gas gathering systems and treating and processing facilities, as well as more than 4,200 miles of pipeline. Western Gas Partners subsidiaries include Pinnacle Gas Treating, Western Gas Wyoming and Anadarko gathering Company.
