My daughter has a friend sleep...

My daughter has a friend sleeping over tonight, and we decided to order Chinese food for dinner. I decided to try this Chinese restaurant, the China King a.k.a Mayflower, because it was closer to our house. It was a $40.00 order. I ordered 2 sesame chicken platters, 1 chicken with broccoli, a large french fry, and a large crab ragoon. My daughter and I had the sesame chicken platters. The chicken meat in both platters was absolutely disgusting! My daughter started eating first, then I sat down a little bit later. She told me that her chicken was pink, and then I started checking mine. For both platters, I cut open every piece of chicken meat and EVERY piece was extremely (dark) pink, very veiny, and either the meat or the batter was partially uncooked. I completely lost my appetite and threw both $9.95 platters away. I called the restaurant to let them know about the meat, and they would not refund me even half the cost of each of the platters until they saw the meat. I explained that the rest of our meal was fine and told them I would pay for the rice... just refund me half the cost of each meal as a compromise, and they still refused to refund any money without seeing the meat. They tried to explain to me that the meat was supposed to look like that. Per the cashier, they boil the meat first, then deep fry it. From my understanding, if the chicken meat is boiled, it shouldn't be pink anymore unless it is not boiled completely???? Moreover, if it is deep fried after being boiled, I would think there definitely shouldn't be any pink or brownish veiny stuff left in the meat.... Correct? In any event, I decided to 'eat' the cost at this point because it wasn't worth my blood pressure to argue with them any further; however, I WILL NOT order from this place ever again! The restaurant in Royersford, Han Dynasty, by Palermo's Pizza and Rita's Water Ice is definitely worth the extra few minutes of a drive than to go back to this place!

P.S. As a follow up to my review, we had dinner around 8ish. It's now 9:10pm, and we've both been in the bathroom with upset stomachs. Coincidence or not????
