      Japanese Sword / This class is the ultimate Weapons class. When it comes to wielding weapons the Japanese hold the Crown. The Sword System we teach is the same system taught to the Japanese Military - Tachi-Iai, Toyama Ryu and Nakamura Ryu. There are 3 aspects of training; Iaido, which is sword kata. Kenjutsu is the combative aspects of the sword. Tameshigiri is target test cutting with real swords. Chanbara/ Chanbara is combative weapons training with padded weapons. We use ActionFlex padded weapons with Japanese combative techniques. Imagine a Sword Vs. Nunchucks, or a Bo Staff Vs. a Knife. Anything you can dream up, we can put it to the test with full power and full speed and no injuries! This class is the REAL THING and you are guaranteed to sweat.
