I have been sitting in a room for almost a hour no dang doctor has yet to come in. Should have taking my child to the hospital if I was gonna have to wait forever. This is b.s.. I started coming here about 2 months ago and swore by them nope not today. I hate this place today

I had a rusty nail go through my hand and needed it cleaned out and a tetanus shot. I was very pleased with the care I was given and the professionalism of Doctors Care. I've since then taken my 3 year old daughter in and again was very pleased. This is the only after hours place my family will use!

A month after treatment, I received a call from a collection agent for Doctors Care informing me I was overdue on my bill. As I had paid my office insurance deductible and had received no bill I was not aware I had a balance. She said they had sent numerous statements including warnings I was being sent to collections. She insisted the only way to avoid collection was to pay right then by phone. I was not going to give someone my credit card over the phone. I asked if I could pay online and she said no it was too late. I said when I got back to the office and pay when I returned home. She said I might not be able to do that as they might be able to access an "old" bill. She kept trying to get me to pay over the phone.



When I went to the office I asked and the FIRST bill had been send one month before and the second was sent the day I came in. No late statements, no warnings. Also, I could have paid over the internet without a problem.



I will NOT put up with that. Next time I need after hours service I will go somewhere else. It's not like there is a shortage of places to go.

Wait time? Forget about getting in to see the doctor anytime within the next 2 1/2 hrs upon arrival. My daughter had a badly injured foot and they not only were the receptionist cold and unwelcoming, but they are not thorough with their work. An elderly man in front of me had filled out paperwork and was waiting for 30mins it seemed before the receptionist bothered to ask him what kind of insurance he had. Turns out his insurance wasn't accepted there and he had to go elsewhere. Not very sympathetic either. I drove all the way to Greenville for service as a walk in. Even with a 30 minute commute and wait time in greenville, I was still seen sooner than this place. But more importantly than that I felt welcomed by the receptionist and received great care from the doctor in greenville, unlike this place.

I was Dr. Rays' patient prior to her move to Doctors Care. Along with her nurse that made the move with her, they continue to provide the same very good, personalized quality of care as always. I have also found Dr. Miller and the remainder of the staff to be above satisfactory. I recently moved away from Spartanburg, SC and will truly miss my primary care physicians.
