i lived at briar wood group home for about 18 months as a teenager and at first it was a good experience. it's a better alternative to jail. while i was there i had good and bad times they're too dependent medication to control the kids. some staff where very mean and disrespectful but most where friendly and strict. they did have good group sessions and i did learn a couple things. but they where also a little too oppressive at times.and some of their methods where a little misguided.
