- Comprehensive ExaminationMany diseases are treatable if caught before irreversible changes have occurred. Therefore we recommend annual or bi-annual physical examinations to help us prevent, diagnose, and treat problems before they become life-threatening. Each exam is tailored to the pet’s life stage and we welcome any questions you may have about their health during these visits.
- Parasites Treatment and ControlEven if your pet does not need vaccinations, it is important to bring him or her in once a year for a thorough examination. At that time, we will be able to go over any questions you may have about your pet’s care and we can talk about preventive medicine including flea, tick and heartworm prevention.

- Pain ManagementAcupuncture is defined as the insertion of needles into specific points on the body to cause a desired healing effect. This technique has been used in veterinary practice in China for at least 3000 years to treat many ailments. Acupuncture can assist the body to heal itself by affecting certain physiological changes. Acupuncture stimulates nerves, increases blood circulation, and signals the release of hormones, such as endorphins (one of the body’s pain control chemicals) and cortisol (a natural steroid).
