The company also provides public transit systems and constructs educational facilities for residents. Its more than 4,000-acre community, Daybreak, includes over 20,000 residential units and nearly 1,000 acres of parks and open spaces. Kennecott Land Company is a part of Rio Tinto, which is one of the largest mining companies in the world with more than 90,000 employees.
