Just returned from Blackstone and will never, ever return to this place. Always curious about it because it's across the street from my home, I finally was able to dine at the restaurant, and I was EXTREMELY disappointed. Despite what the site says, you MUST have a reservation if you want to sit anywhere save the bar, but the table in the bar area was cozy enough. We had to wait twenty minutes for bread AFTER a couple that had come in after us received theirs. Finally our Asian bustier and jean wearing waitress stops at our table after ignoring us for the time it took for the bread to be delivered, and delivers an incorrect dish to my mother while exclaiming that she assumed that someone had delivered my dish to me already.



So, once again disappearing, my mother simply begins to dig into the food, and the waitress returns after watching my mother clearly taking bites from her dish, takes the plate from her, goes back to the chef, said chef places asparagus onto the dish, and then the waitress then delivers the dish to ANOTHER customer. So, from there the couple that arrived after us was delivered their food and the waitress once again completely ignored us. Now a solid forty-five to fifty minutes has passed since our initial arrival, and the waitress finally returns, explaining that her manager will be coming over to speak with us. Now, while we're upset, after listening to another patron complain about not having a 'bone in his t-bone steak' and hearing about how the manager is going to allow him to have the steak at the '60 dollar price' versus the '80 dollar' price because of the mix up AND offer them free dessert, I figured that the least the manager could do was offer us a free dessert.



Of course not, not only does he NOT offer us any sort of consolation for waiting an hour and change for our food while other patrons that had come after us were serviced, he gives us a dry 'yeah, sorry for the wait' and walks off. And of course to top it off the 'medium' filet mignon was instead a 'bloody rare' and the food was likened to that of a greasy baby of Taco Bell and McDonald's. Longhorn's is a place that should happily toot it's nose up at this awful excuse of an 'upscale' establishment. I would not encourage anyone to waste their energy or money here.
