Dr. Rubin is a 1991 graduate of Northwestern University School of Dentistry. In 1985 Dr Rubin graduated from Syracuse university and earned a Bachlorate of Science degree in Biology. Origionally from Dix Hills and having attended Half Hollow Hills High School East and Hauppauge High School, Dr. Rubin has returned to open his new Dental practice in Smithtown. After graduating Dental School,Dr. Rubin taught Dentistry for one year at Northwestern Universities Department of Periodontic. Dr Rubin left Chicago to open his own Family Dental practice in Springfield Illinois and practiced there for ten years. Dr. Rubin earned the trust and respect of eleven thousand patients before deciding to sell his practice and return home to Long Island. Dr Rubin had been practicing in Springfield since 1992. Dr. Rubin has undergone many hours of advanced training: Dr Rubin is certified for Branemark dental Implants and has had hospital privilages with Memorial Medical Hospital and Saint Johns hospital in Springfield Illinois FAGD - Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry - General dentists do not specialize in any one facet of dentistry. What a great dentist- I hardly felt the first needle and had virtually no pain. No waiting time to see him and he even called to see how I was feeling the next day. I have been through a few dentists but now I found the right one! He worked with my insurance company too! If you are looking for a great dentist- look no further!
