- Dental ExaminationDental x-rays are a great preventive, diagnostic tool that provides important information not visible during a routine dental exam. Our dental team will utilize this important information to safely and accurately detect any dental abnormalities and then create an accurate treatment plan.
- X-rays
- Teeth CleaningIt is suggested that patients should be seen for a dental cleaning and routine exam every 6 months or as recommended by their dentist. During the cleaning, plaque and calculus will be removed from your teeth leaving behind a bright and polished smile. X-rays may need to be taken to help detect possible cavities in between teeth that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Sealants are a great way to help prevent cavities in permanent teeth.
- Fluoride TreatmentTopically applied fluoride is not just for kids any more. It’s a simple and quick process and can be done during your routine cleaning. No extra appointment is necessary. Fluoride is a mineral that helps prevent tooth decay and is applied to your teeth. This strengthens the enamel so your smile will be as strong as ever.

- Fillings
- VeneersI have received nothing but fantastic care from Park Center Dental Care. When I was a child my front tooth chipped and was fixed in an ill manner by a previous dentist. Dr. Melemseter was able to fix that problem by replacing my old tooth with a beautiful (perfectly matching) porcelain veneer. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result and refer others to her practice. Dr. Melemseter and staff are friendly and well trained professionals who demonstrate dental excellence.
- CrownsCrowns are necessary when a tooth is severely damaged or has suffered from advanced decay and cannot be fixed with bonded filling material. Crowns cover the remaining tooth and restore its function, strength, and esthetics. Several crown material options are available including non-metal crowns. Your dentist will discuss these on an individual basis depending on the area of the mouth that needs to be restored.
- Bridges
- Root Canal TreatmentRoot canal therapy is needed when a cavity has reached the pulp of a tooth causing an infection of the nerve, or when severe trauma has affected the tooth. Regular checkups with your dentist helps to avoid and prevent the need for endodontic therapy. But once the pulp has become infected, it must be treated to avoid further issues since it cannot heal by itself. Some signs that a pulp is infected include sensitivity to hot or cold foods or liquids, pain, swelling, or even a bad taste in the mouth. For some patients no symptoms are obvious and they are unaware a problem even exists until they are seen by their dentist for an exam.
- DenturesA denture is a removable dental appliance replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissue. They are made to closely resemble your natural teeth and may even enhance your smile.

- OrthodonticsIt’s recommended that a child should have their first dental exam at around one year of age. This first appointment will include an examination of your child’s head and neck and an evaluation of the teeth, gums, and bite. Preventative appointments may consist of a fluoride treatment, tooth cleaning, x-rays (if needed), and an exam by one of our experienced dentists. As your child ages, we will monitor the eruption of their adult teeth and recommend orthodontics if needed.
