      Founded in 1953, KELO-TV is an affiliate station of the Columbia Broadcasting System. The company s broadcasting serves the greater Sioux Falls, S.D., area. The station also operates a digital broadcasting facility, KELO-DT, which is an affiliate of United Paramount Network. The company has been a subsidiary of Young Broadcasting since 1996. Young Broadcasting is an owner and operator of television stations in a geographically diverse array of markets. In addition to television stations, the company owns Adam Young, a national television representation firm. Young Broadcasting owns stations that are affiliated with the American Broadcasting Company, National Broadcasting Company and CBS. The company also owns an independent station in San Francisco. Young Broadcasting is headquartered in New York. KELO-TV is based in Sioux Falls, S.D.
