      Located 8,750 feet above sea level, Neils Lunceford Nursery s work has taken the company to elevations of 12,500 feet. These elevations and the general climate of Summit, Eagle and surrounding counties in Colorado provide the company with a challenging landscaping environment. Neils Lunceford s staff has conducted experiments and research projects to better understand native plant materials. The company has also completed studies of low-maintenance and drought-tolerant species. These efforts have resulted in the introduction of many native and nonnative plants to the company s projects and increased Neils Lunceford s high-altitude plant palette. Neils Lunceford Nursery is located in Silverthorne, Colo.
