I have been going here since it was owned by Marco's parents, then called Italia. He and his wife have done a lovely job of making it more of a deli restaurant rather than a grocery store with a deli in it. He has opened it up so that diners can eat in a nice Italian cafe style arrangement but he still carries some of the harder to locate items at the back of the store. My favorite menu item are the subs that they make for lunch with the traditional hard crusted loaves, but he does offer soft sub as well. They also have some really tasty traditional Italian deserts, and not just the standard cannoli. Hope that this is helpful.
