In response to the current concerns over Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the presidential declaration of emergency, Gila Regional Medical Center is enacting our emergency preparedness plan. We are dedicated to caring for all members of our community both sick and healthy. In order to reduce the risk of spreading and contracting of the COVID-19 virus we have implemented several changes to our current operating policies. Not bad . For a small hospital they do a good job.
Several nurses had difficult bedside manner with a sensitive child both in the ER and surgery. Refused to work with us. No compassion. We would prefer to go out of town but in an emergency you have no other choice and they know you have no choice. They get the job done maybe but you leave with a terrible impression.
