General Info
ABOUT THE COMPANY Waters Engineering, Inc is a civil consulting firm specializing in municipal wastewater, drinking water, transportation, and general engineering services. Our engineers are highly motivated individuals with an average experience of 21 years. Our expertise gained from completing hundreds of projects combined with our common sense, value oriented approach can help you meet your needs. We value the client as a part of our project team from planning through design and construction. Waters Engineering was organized in 1955 ; however, Mr. Alex C. Waters, the founder of the company, began his practice of engineering and surveying in Southeast Missouri in the 1920's. This was done with his assistance in the construction of the Little River Drainage District ( a huge undertaking of the time that drained the swamp lands of Southeast Missouri, turning the land into productive farmland ). Waters Engineering is a multi-disciplinary civil, environmental, and land surveying firm located in Sikeston, Missouri. We have directed our focus on customer satisfaction rather than corporate growth. We feel that a close client/engineer relationship results in a solution that meets or exceeds the clients goals and expectations. Our experience with various local, state, and federal funding agencies along with our knowledge of various practical and innovative finance methods can help clients choose the best funding strategy for the needed improvements.

Reviews
This firm is apparently overseeing a contract to install a municipal sewer system in a small town of under 600 people. They may also have written or had a hand in writing the contract. As a professional large project Construction Quality Control Manager, I have never seen such poor contractor performance or such poor quality control or contract oversight. I just got off a $2 Billion new power plant job that was built in less time than this sewer project. The contractor has been allowed to leave excavations open, large piles of dirt in residents' yards, etc, for over a year at a time, and the restoration to previous conditions personally promised by Waters' representative has completely been ignored. Work with this firm at your own risk!!
