0Used the service several times - somewhat pricey, but worth it since she comes right to the house and the appointment is usually less than an hour. However, made an appointment in advance three months ago - confirmed it shortly before and she never showed up and never called. Finally after three texts she got back to me five days later and said she had an emergency that prevented her making the appointment. Made a follow-up appointment for two weeks later. Again confirmed twice by text as late as the day before. Again - never showed or called. So now I have spent two Saturday mornings and wasted several hours sitting at home for nothing. Sent her another text - where was she? - three hours later still no response - so needless to say - we will be looking for a new dog groomer.
Send email requesting appt. Left my phone # and email address got no response. Guess she doesn't need or want my business.
My name is Beverly and I am writing this on behalf of my dog, Maizie. We recently moved from NJ to SC. Alisa at Dog-gone Stylin' has been Maizie's groomer and "doggie sitter" for several years. As a matter of fact, she does not get groomed in SC, as I wait until we come up to NJ so she can get groomed by Alisa. Not only is the service great, but Maizie loves her. As soon as she sees her, she jumps on her and puts her paws around her neck for a big hug!! Alisa also "doggie sits" for Maizie while we are traveling and when it is time to pick her up, Maizie goes back and forth between us, not knowing who she really wants to be with!! At first I was jealous, but then I realized it is great that she loves her and it makes me know she is treated well when she is with her. In closing I would like to say, Maizie is the best groomed dog in South Carolina!!!! Give Alisa a try, you won't be disappointed.

I attended grooming school in July of 2002 for a intensive four week program and graduated from the prestigious Paragon School of Pet Grooming in Michigan.(www.paragonpetschool.com) Paragon is approved by the Michigan Department of Education and is highly respected and well known throughout the United States for turning out highly skilled, sought after groomers. Their philosophy reflects the highest standard of pet grooming available in terms of expertise, skill, safety, compassion and love of the dog. After returning, I had to complete 100 grooming's and then became a *certified groomer. Throughout the year, I attend Seminars and Trade Shows furthering my education on animal health and safety. I look at the newest tools, products and equipment and keep abreast of changing styles and breed clips. *Please note: As of now it is not necessary in the state of NJ for a groomer to be certified or licensed. I am both. Please check with your current groomer to be sure that they are properly trained in all aspects of their field.
