5-Star + Experience!!! Let me start by saying there is No One other than Toni I would leave my girl Pearl with! Not only is she and her kennel / grooming facility immaculate, but she is as warm and full of love and care for the animals she takes care of as she is diligent with their needs! Whether you are leaving a puppy for the first time (as was my first experience with her last year) or you have a pet with medical needs,Toni will have full knowledge of how they need to be cared for and treated. I must say I am always pleasantly moved by the fact that every time I've board my Pearl there (about five or six times now) she runs right in the facility, runs to Toni and kisses her! Most importantly,I think it is a true testament to the care she receives there that when I pick her up my dog is happy, not overly excited, smells clean, not perfumed and comes home like she hasn't been anywhere other than a home. She is never stressed, she comes home and eats and plays normally. THE BEST !

I recently adopted a 5 year old Chiwawa from Tony at TLC Kennels I brought him home 12/19/10 & bandit was the best Christmas present myself & my family have ever gotten! We were not looking to adopt a dog but the more times I went into the kennel to deliver lunch to the TLC Kennel crew from Captains, the more I got to know Tony & the more I got to know about the her dogs up for adoption. i visited with the puppies/dogs in the play room on almost every delivery & watch as some very timid puppies & dogs became friendlier with each visit! How Tony & her staffs Love, attention & training were really making a difference! I had always been a bit scared about adopting a kennel dog but TLC has changed my mind completely! I will never again purchase a dog from a pet store when there are so many unwanted ones out there that our looking for a place to call home! THANKS Tony & TLC for bringing such a wonderful, sweet, well mannered & loving dog into Our Family,Our Home & Hearts!We Love him Dearly

We love TLC Kennels! We love Toni! Our dogs are always happy to visit and the care they receive is like what they would get at home. We have two giant Mastiffs and the size of the kennels are perfect for them and they get to stay together in one jumbo kennel. TLC Kennels is always clean and we are always welcomed in the back to drop off or pick up our dogs unlike some kennels that do not allow you to see the back room. Toni and her staff are very caring and loving to our dogs and we will never take them anywhere else. Toni has a connection and love for dogs that you can see right away, it is what you want to see in a person when you know they are taking care of you loved ones. If you want someone like a family member to take care of your pets, meet Toni and you will know your pets are in good hands! No gimmicks, reasonable prices, honest business!

OUTSTANDING! I wholeheartedly recommend TLC Kennels for boarding your pets. I am a professional dog trainer and am very familiar with the boarding facilities in the area. Toni's place is top-notch for cleanliness, spaciousness, and care. My three dogs and two cats have enjoyed many vacations here and it is wonderful to know they are in such good hands. Toni truly loves animals and I know first-hand the extremes she will go to to ensure they get the attention they need. They ALWAYS come first with her. Go away and rest assured that your furry friends will be happy and loved until you come back.

I LOVE this kennel and Toni and so do my dogs. I have used other kennels over the years but TLC is the only one with large enough runs to keep my 3 shepherds together. In fact, my babies usually try to get back into the car after they see that we are at a kennel, but not with TLC!! They simply trot into the kennel, say Hi to Toni and go to their runs. They also do not drag me back out the door as soon as they come into the main area when we pick them up. This behavior lets me know that they give the place 4 paws up and so do I. I have heard some people in the community refer to Toni as a "Character" well it is time for those folks to grow up and accept a "character" who will love their pets as much as they do. I have boarded my babies 3 times in the last 6 months and I hope to keep boarding them at TLC for the rest of their lives! P.S. some places say they play with your pet and really don't. Toni does hands on because she discovered my Samson's "funny noise" when you rub his tummy.

The best in the business. Whether for grooming or boarding, our pup Sedrick, loves to go visit the gang at TLC. Very clean facilities and very friendly people who know and love what they do. Will never go anywhere else!!

We left our dogs at TLC Kennels from May 1st-8th 2010 as my partner&I went on a cruise to celebrate our Anniversary.This was the very 1st time we left our dogs"Children" We were very nervous to leave them but from the 1st time Bill&I met Toni,She made me feel like she loved our dogs as much as we did.Toni is one amazing woman & she told me to call as much as i wanted to check on them.& I did lol. She treated my dogs"Children" as a precious item.We brought our own wet food(wasn't neccesary as she provides everything) & she gave us the left over food they didn't use,she could of lied & said they ate it all but she didn't because she is honest & her rates are so incredible as i checked many other places.She gave us a full tour befor we even agreed to let them stay, They came home clean & smelling wonderful. Bill&I will use her again & again & again. Toni is an angel and the staff i met was outstanding. Thank you Toni for taking incredible care of our kids..See You soon John&Bill 5 stars

Best area kennel. Great service. Certainly the largest and cleanest pet care facility I have ever seen.

Top notch service! My dogs are frequent boarders at TLC Kennels, both at their former Trumbull location and now their new expanded facility in Shelton. The new facility is much larger and very well designed. Kudos to TLC's friendly staff and expert manager, they love their clientele and show their professionalism and attentiveness every time we visit.
