Provided by YP.comThis is a good place for a good haircut (and/or straight-razor shave). I, along with my son and father-in-law, have been going here for several years now with no complaints whatsoever. Over the years, I have had my hair cut by everyone working there (Jason from Laos being the latest). They all know what they are doing, and they all take their time with EVERY haircut. Because of the attention to detail that goes in to every haircut, you may have to wait a while for your turn (I try to go in the morning), but in the end you will be glad you did. John (Yoes) gave my son his first haircut, and has been the only one to cut it since. Even though my son was so young (and not so good at sitting still), John still managed to always give him a great haircut. So, whether you are 2 or 102, The Yoes Brothers Barber Shop is a place that will not let you down. Thank you for the great work, Yoes!
Rodney Yoes has been cutting my oldest son's hair since he was a year old and has always done a wonderful job. No one else has been able to tame his double crown! Even though we now live in Tullahoma, my son -- and now his younger brothers -- prefer that we drive to Shelbyville so that Rodney and John can cut their hair. The wait times can get long on Saturdays and after work on weekdays, but the price is right at $9 and the service is super!

Provided by YP.comi went in to Yoes barbershop around 5pm after work (conveniently they're open until 6pm). this is a busy shop and 3 barbers were cutting hair that day. there were several guys ahead of me, so i had a wait of almost an hour (one barber was involved with giving a guy "the works" - a haircut/shave/groom-up, which he spent about an hour doing). all the guys ahead of me seemed to be getting out of the barberchair with decent looking haircuts, they seem to do a good job with various types of haircuts, so i waited my turn. i got the barber in the 3rd chair, and he was friendly and listened to how i wanted a general trim-type haircut, then wet my hair down with a water spray and started barbering me up, cutting and combing for about 20 min. or so until it looked real decent. he then groomed me up some by using a electric razor to trim the back of my neck, then trim my eyebrows also. he finished it off by using some kind of hair spray and then combing it up, to get it neat looking and keeping it in place, with a clean part. the barber spent about 25 min. on my haircut, and that was after 6pm the normal working hours, and there were still a couple of guys after me. the haircut looked really great, except for an area in the back, right above my neckline, which was uneven and did not blend in well and did not look good - was a little embarrasing for me with my girfriend, friends, and at work and church, but after about 10 days it had grown in ok. i would recommend that when cleaning up a guy's back neck area , they use shaving cream and a regular razor, i think it comes out cleaner looking and easier to get it even. other than the mess-up in the back, it was a really decent haircut and stayed in place well, and was easy to comb up. i'm going to go back for another haircut here and see how they do, but maybe not at 5pm when they are real busy so i don't have to wait as long. would recommend trying this barbeshop to others - get YO' decent haircut here.
