I went to Dale for 4 years to get my taxes done. He was nice and seemed to know what he was doing. However, when I got a letter from the state saying that an error had been made and that I owed them over $200, I couldn't get a hold of him. He wouldn't answer my calls, return my messages, and didn't even respond to the letter I sent him with a copy of the state letter enclosed. So I had to pay the state and he didn't have to own up to his mistake. I would never go there again and I tell everyone who asks how bad he is.

Had an appt at 11 am at the Tax Dr with Dale Rhoades written down on my desk, added to my online calendar, reminders set in my phone. Returning a vm he said “Well sitting here waiting for you to show up at your 10 appt” (sarcastic laugh) Me “I’m sorry I had my appt scheduled for 11” Him “Not here, you don’t.” At this point I’m set back, asked to reschedule. Him “Well how much stuff do you have?” Me, “my W2s and our paperwork in line, along with my husband’s sole prop.” Him, “What kind of business?” Me, “He has a sign business remember?” (laugh AGAIN), “I have 500 customers, how am I supposed to remember you? Have you been here before?’ “We came for the first time last year, you’ve been doing my parents taxes for 10-15 years.” His reply, “How do you expect me to remember, I have 500 customers to keep track of!” (laugh) Me, “Why are you being so rude to me?” Him, “I’m NOT being rude to you if you don’t want to bring your business here you don’t have to!"HANGS UP ON ME!
