I've purchased 3 boxes of pork rinds pellets from Triland Foods the first 2 boxes popped up good no problem. Then I purchased a 3 rd. box from them and they didn't pop up right at all I had So much waste because I had to pick out a lot of bad ones. It was time consuming in doing this and a big waste of money for me because of so many bad ones in the box and they are costly. I called Triland and from the beginning of the conversation the lady on the phone had an attitude and tried to blame it on me saying I was over filling the basket which I've been cooking pork rinds for years so I do know how to get fry them. My boyfriend spoke with her before I did and she had a bad attitude with him as well and tried saying we was over filling the basket or our fryer was not keeping the proper temp. My commercial fryer is fairly new but I went ahead and changed the oil again bought a new thermometer and checked it to my thermometer on my fryer and it read the same temp. I tried everything before I called the company. I also called a company that has been in the business of pork rinds for many years and told him how the pellets wasn't popping up right and he said at some point in processing moisture go into the pellets and caused them to not pop up right. I told this lady that and she said yes moisture could have got in them in shipment or something. I said well that's not my fault aren't you going to stand by your product and she said I am standing by my product what do you want me to do well send me a different box. Of course she wasn't going to do that she just wanted to argue and blame me. I will never order from them again and suggest you don't either and I will be contacting the BBB over the matter as well. Beware don't purchase from Triland Foods. I would give them no stars if I had the choice.
