About the Owner Michael Pearce, a Florida native, has always been intrigued with puzzles and figuring out how things work. After graduating from Vero Beach Senior High School in 1985, where he was first introduced to the world of computers, he went on to earn a Degree in Computer Science and gained a much better understanding of the puzzles he’d played with for so long. He then toured in the Navy where he increased his knowledge and experience installing, testing and maintaining multimillion dollar Automated Defense Weapons Systems. After serving in Desert Storm & Desert Shield and being Honorably Discharged, he and his family moved back home to Indian River County where Michael has worked as an electrician, home automation specialist and among other things, traveled the globe as a custom robotics service technician. Since 1998, Michael has owned and operated TekNOW Services, a local computer and home automation service company, almost exclusively through “word of mouth” referrals. Leveraging the ability to provide service via the internet has afforded Michael the opportunities to help people, regardless of their location, or his.
