I was a boarder quite a number of years ago, and let me tell you I cried into my pillow at night every night and felt as though I were being watched too closely. Men would come into the women's bathroom and keep the door open. Women would complain about the smell if you had used the bathroom. I went to the bathroom once a week when I visited my parents' home on the weekends. At the beginning, the staff member doing my intake told me that no sexual molestation could happen because of their medicines, but it did. I was sexually harassed and molested there. There was no way for me to leave until my parents agreed to help me pay for my own apartment. There was certainly abuse on the part of the staff members. For shame on them, and many of them ought to be locked up.
