I cannot possibly relay all the positive things to say. If Dr Mease's reasearch practice, his wonderful staff and optimistic environment are beyond compare. I was referred to SRA by my prior Fibromyalgia doc who went into research. I was in tears and so happy to find that SRA was an even better place for me. They have continued my FCF treatment and delved further to find that I also has rheumatiod arthritis. I do not have even one complaint...... So many pople suffer and frustrated with lack of care- please give SRA a call! VS

Dr. Mease at Seattle Rheumatology Associates has been treating me for lupus for more than 20 years. He is a great clinician, an attentive listener (and rememberer!), and a dedicated and talented research scientist. He gives thoughtful answers to all my questions. He takes enough time to address my concerns at each visit. I was so lucky to have found him right when I first became ill. I have recommended him to everyone I know who has found themselves in need of the services of a rheumatologist.



One of the ways to evaluate a clinic is to look at the staff turnover. I have been fortunate enough to work with many of the same staff year after year. They are all knowledgeable, compassionate, and caring. My phone calls are always returned promptly. They help me with insurance paperwork and referral slips. Frankly, I think my head would explode if I had to deal with insurance companies all day. But everyone at SRA does it with such good grace, and they always help me to see the lighter side of it all. I am honored to call everyone there a friend.



Over the years I have had to jump through hoops to keep Dr. Mease as my rheumatologist, and it has meant changing my primary doctor four times. But a continuing relationship with him is even more important to me than the one I have with my primary doc and I have been so relieved each time to be able to stay with him.



If you have a condition requiring treatment by a rheumatologist, you won't find a better clinic than SRA anywhere. GO THERE!
