KPFF was founded in 1960 in Seattle as Albert Kelly and Associates. It was later renamed Kelly, Pittelko, Fritz and Forssen and eventually became KPFF in 1976. The company maintains additional offices in Tacoma, Wash., Portland and Eugene, Ore., Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Pasadena and Long Beach, Calif., Phoenix, Denver and St. Louis.
