- DemolitionTypically involved early in the process, I am proficient at site evaluation, with extensive experience with local codes, demolition, geology and excavation, infrastructure, and civil engineering requirements. Working along with your architect, or my architect, I can make an idea tangible and then, create a realistic preliminary budget and conceptual plan.
- ExcavationHaving lived and worked in Arizona (specifically Paradise Valley and Scottsdale) for nearly 50 years, I know the area very well, including neighborhoods, property values, schools, thoroughfares, and amenities. I have significant experience in the geology and drainage, solar and climate factors, and zoning and building codes. Add to this, extensive experience with difficult excavation and demolition, and the vision required to evaluate if a site can support the customers wishes.

- Window Installation/ReplacementPlateresque. Plateresque, meaning “silversmith-like,†was characterized by broad surface decorations around doors and windows, elaborate pilasters, broken pediments and entablatures. The most prominent surviving examples of this style in Mexico are churches, and in Spain, both churches and various other buildings survive.
- PatiosSpanish Colonial Revival borrows from the entire history of Spanish architecture. The building is masonry with smooth stucco finish and the roofs are red clay tile. Doors are usually emphasized by adjacent spiral columns, pilasters or carved stonework. Arches over doors, windows and in arch-and-pier wall systems are common. Doors are heavy carved wood at entry and glass at the patio. Windows are often set in pairs and triplets and have small panes of glass. Other typical details include decorative ironwork, fountains, and arcaded walkways or patios.
- MasonryHouses that anticipate the sun and time, that are contextually correct, and historically and stylistically accurate. Add to this, a preference for masonry construction and a sincere desire to build houses that will look good and perform well for over 100 years.
